"Open your eyes to the detail of this world"
from Hiver by Steeleye Span
About Me
I am an illustrator, stargazer and fibreartist from
Adelaide in Beautiful South Australia.
I work in traditional, experimental and digital media,
specialising in children's book illustration.
I have a background in commercial photography and a recent degree in
Illustration and Animation from the University of South Australia.
As an illustrator available for hire, my work spans various styles and themes.
This allows me to cater to a wide range of projects, ensuring an individual touch for each client's needs.
What is a "Loaded Spinning Wheel?"
The fully operational model spinning wheel I created to illustrate the idea of a loaded spinning wheel.
(Modeled and Animated in Maya)
"The wicked witch must be locked up in case she gets her
hands on a loaded spinning wheel."
said by the young witch, Tiffany Aching,
in I Shall Wear Midnight written by Sir Terry Pratchett.

Illustration
It's about the story

Design
Visual communication in a digital age.
I combine traditional media with digital work to produce unique work that will stand out in an age where so much is becoming artificially generated.
Under Dark Skies

Light Pollution
Protect the Night
It's good for us, good for wildlife
and good for the environment.
.

Astronomy
Universal Therapy
Viewing the night sky is therapeutic. Lying back on a dark clear night, away from light polluted areas, watching the sky revolve around the South Celestial Pole is a beautiful way to unwind.

Fibre Arts
I start with fibre
I enjoy making yarn, using yarn and playing with fibre. This page is a collection of my handmade fibre based projects.
